Update on the ellyros Productions 2018 Revival Shows Status

Greetings diehard ellyrossers! We know the news drought has been quite rough since we last heard anything about the long awaited revival series plans for Frank, Just a Kid and Spongebob Untol Adventures. Alls been quieit on the western front because as ellyros CEO put it, "We want things to be a real treat and surprise to the diehard fans who have been waiting years for these beloved seires to return." No fans were present to comment.

However fret not! We managed to sit down with ellyros CEO Michael and he finally decided to give us an update on the internal workings of the revival plans.

Q: So Michael-
A: Please, call me Ellyros.

Q: So Ellyros, how are things going with the revival shows?
A: Well I'm glad you asked. First off I'd just like to say we never got the chance to make an official announcement on the return of these series. i think i saw some blog post about it being hinted at and I just assumed that was a good enough announcement. but yes to confirm it, we are doing revivals for thes ebeloved shows. You're welcome.

Q: So how are things going with the revival shows?
A: Well I'm glad you asked. Things are going well. Relatively speaking.

Q: Relatively speaking?
A: In the sense that no one has died or lost any limbs during production. Outside of that context things are rough.

Q: Can you elaborate?
A: Well we began production Frank 4 first, seeing as the leading actor, Mike had a busy schedule. Apparently he was wrapping up production on a feature film with KS Productions and things were rough. He almost didn't want to come back for the revival but when he saw the fan outpouring for his return he finally caved. The fans really put on a great show. At one point we toyed with the idea of hiring a new actor to play Frank. We released some test footage to see how the fans would react and an hour later the hashtag, "#notmyFrank" was trending on Twitter. it was great. I think that was what pushed Mike over the edge and convinced him to return.

Q: So how did things turn out?
A: Well again, as I said he had just got off production of a troubled shoot so he wasn't really on his game. He was determined to finish the shoot as soon as possible. Unfortunately we began filming and then ended up having to post pone it for a couple months because we lost the footage on our hard drives. This really upset him and he demanded a pay increase for his time. I believe the exact quote was, "I don't give a flying koala f*ck about the fans if I don't get my f*ckin' money. I'm broke as f*ck." He's one of our biggest stars so naturally we gave him a pay increase.

Q: Just like that?
A: Well he's a big name around the studio so of course. Unfortunately that money didn't just come from nowhere so we had to lose the rest of the cast and crew to finish production. Hurt us quite a bit actually We had an entire 18 season long arc that would show Frank rising, falling and then rising again, reborn like a phoenix from firey ahshes. I think the fans really would have  liked to see Frank get an ending he deserved. I supposed in a way we're still doing something like that, but now it's on a lesser scale.

Q: Can you elaborate more on that 18 episode arc?
A: Maybe when the heat dies down, which I'm sure won't be for a while once the episode airs. I'm sure the fans will be chomping at the bit for days, months, weeks even. It's a doozy of an episode.

Q: Exciting! So, moving on, how's the Just a Kid revivial coming along?
A: I'm glad you asked! It's swell. Here, have a promotional image hot off the presses.

Q: Oh wow! Thanks so much!
A: No problem.

Q: So how's the show coming along?
A: I'm glad you asked! Our animator is hard at work trying to create a conclusion to the series so many of our diehard ellyrossers grew up with. As you can see we've done some redesigns for the characters to reflect the idea that these characters are growing up with the fans. The idea is to create an emotional and touching series finale that the fans can personally feel connected with. Its about three boys growing up in an everchanging world, forced to grow and learn as one does, but all with a side of wit and sarcasm thrown in the spice it up. Ultimately, they come to terms with and realize that at the end of the day, everyone, young, old, dead, still born, we're all Just a Kid. I think our animator is capturing that essecense.

Q: How far along is it.
A: About 3 seconds I believe.

Q: F*ck me.
A: Coming 2018.

Q: Ok well to close things up, what can you tell us about the Spongebob Untol Adventures revival?
A: I'm glad you asked. After the aquisition of 658681 studios several years ago, production halted on the series due to a series of issues coming up regarding the actors rights and the rights of the show. These problems were the reason Season 2 never concluded and I'm afraid theres no one ot blambe but 658681 for their poor mishandling of the legalities. If they had simple handed over all control abd contracts to us this wouldn't have happened. But they forced our hand and so we canned the show mid season to show those b***ards we weren't f*cking around.

Q: I thought you said 658681 was at fault?
A: Yes.

Q: Well it seems those problems were resolved now that we're finally getting a series revivial?
A: Oh they were resolved alright. We kept a tight grip on 658681 until they bled enough value to the point where we could buy them out entirely, rights and all. They barely got anything out of the deal, while losing everything they had to boot. F*ckers. Anyways, yes the problem is solved and now we own the Spongebob Untold Adventures liscience.

Q: So how is the revival coming?
A: I'm glad you asked. We have a general idea of where we want the series to go and we've got a team working on a script right now. We don't know when shooting will happen but hopefully before the end of the year. We don't want to keep the fans waiting too long as we know SBUA is a beloved series and that they're all pining for more content.

Q: In recent years, some plotlines were leaked that were tied to the future seasons of SBUA. Any plans to continue those?
A: Unfortunately no. Due to how much time has passed, and how the actors involved are working with other projects, time is not on our side. We decided it would be best to focus all our efforts into a single big burst of fan pleasure for maximum effeciency. Carrying out the 3-4 season long story arcs wouldn't have been practical. Even right now we don't know if we can secure all the actors to reprise their roles. I think last I heard, Patrick was working on trying to get his own series rebooted, "Patrick the Poobah."

Q: Well thank you for your time Michael.
A: Call me Ellyros. Please.
