Exclusive Interview with Mitchel Sandosviki: The Man of a Thousand Voices

Grettings all and what a scoop we have for you today! We managed to have a sit down interview with the man, the myth, the legend, Mitchel Sandosviki, who you might know as the man who voiced all your favorite childhood ellyros cartoon characters.

A little history for those of you new to the ellysphere. Mitchel was first brought on back in the late 2000's for some interen work on the then up and cming ellyros production of "The Stick Family." What started out as a one time unpaid gig turned into a lifetime commitment for Mitch. ellyros CEO Mike was standing there in the recording booth providing voice direction to perfectly capture the exact kind of tone he wanted for his first piece of animated art the workld would see and he was simply blown away by the performance on display by Mitchel.

"I was simply blown away by the performance on display by Mitchel," Mike said in a recent interview. "I told him to do one thing with his voice, and then he did that but turned up to 11. It was a talent I had only ever seen in myself before. I was very impressed." Mike hired Mitch on the spot and what started then was a partnership to last through the ages.
As the years went on, Mithc continued to voice all the iconic characters of ellyros like Phil, Mr. Tofu, the Mr. Tofu narrator and so on and so forth. The amount of voices Mitch had in his disposal was simply astounding. One employee of ellyros at the time stated this: "We around the office would call Mitch the man of 1000 voices because it sounded like he had 1000 voices when he was doing recording. Anytime Mike would show us a new character to animated we'd ask, Who is goin to voice him? And he would make an M shape with his hands and we'd all rolll our eyes and grin like and think to ourselves aloud, "Mitch will voice him"

Since then, Mitch has been in countless ellyros projects and has been a loyal contributer to the cause. So naturally, when ellyros announced plans to revive iconic series "Just a Kid." we just HAD to knwo if Mitch would be there. deep down we knew it just wouldn't be the same without him. we spoke mith Witch recently and asked him a few questions to see if he would give us a few answers regarding the Just a Kid revival.

Q: So Mitch, why did you decide to return?
A: Well deep down I knew it just wouldn't be the same without me. I owed it to the fans.

Q: What's your history with this particular series?
A: It was a series very dear to my heart and so it pained me back in 2011 when the show had to be cut so short. I read all the scripts and even recorded all my lines for the first season over a single weekend because I wa sso excited. The JAK trio were some of my favorite characters to voice because I got to really try and make my voice have unique personalities.

Q: That true, how was it to voice 3 characters like that?
A: Well they don't call me the man of 1000 voices for nothing let me tell you what ho ho.

Q: That also true, how was it to voice three characters like that?
A: Well it was tough but ellyros CEO Mike was there to guide me on the best way to reach his artistic vision. He helped me develop the characters and make them into their own characters.

Q: What was the method you used to give them unique voices?
A: Well for Andy, I could tell right away he was a cool dude of the group. But not too cool. Myron seemed more of the coolest one and Luis seemed more laid back. So for Myron I gave him a rougher, edgier voice to match is cool persona. Andy had the most neutral cool tone and Luis had a more reserved voice to match his emo personality.

Q: But Luis keeps telling us, he's not emo, his hair just lays that way by itself.
A: Whatever he says...emo boy.

Q: What are your thoughts on the revival series? Is it faithful to the original?
A: It's more than faithful. It's religiously faithful. The fans are going to love it and I love it already and I am in it! Wah! I'ts a real treat to voice these characters again. ellyros CEO Mike explained the pitch to me over brinner the other year and i fell in love with it. when he finished telling me I took a sip of my drink, put it down and then said, "So whens the next season?" We laughed.

Q: Anything you want to say to the fans about the new revival?
A: Expect anything. Raise your hype and then some because this will not only match it, but it will go beyond. We're dong justice to Andy, Myron and Luis. This revival will elevate their characters to new heights and leav you wanting more. Personally I'm hoping Mike decides to pull the trigger on a 2nd and 3rd season on this bad boy. I think the demand will be there.

Q: Why haven't they announced a 2nd or 3rd season yet?
A: Well I talked it over with Mike and he said it's because he wants to give the fans what they want but he also wants to invest in some new IPs for the coming century to establish ellyros as a powrhouse brnd.

Q: And what new IPs does he have in stoer? I remember years ago there was talk of a new series called Skillzy but we haven't heard about that in a long time.
A: Skillzy is being reworked into a full on movie production as the ideas Mike wanted to go for were a little too ambition for the ellyros tv studios department. A whole film department was opened just for it. So it's still coming but just give it some time.

Q: Will you voice any of the characters in Skillzy?
A: (laughs) I sure hope so.

Q: Well thanks for talking with us Mitchel. We here at the ellyros fansite respect and appreciate the work you do to bring these lovable shows and characters and settings to life.
A: I try.

There you have it folks! What an exlusive! No word on the release of the ellyros revivals has been leaked or mentioned outside of a mysterious "Next Thursday maybe" from the ellyros janitor when provoked. We'll keep you up to date on all things ellyros related and or otherwise.
